Sweet Adelines Barbershop Music Appreciation Day 2020 - Jul 13, 2020

Each year Verdugo Hills Chorus participates in Barbershop Music Appreciation Day, July 13.  This holiday celebrates harmony and commemorates the founding of Sweet Adelines International (75^th anniversary this year!)  Although we cannot be together in person to celebrate this day due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still want to share with you our love for Barbershop Music.  We invite you to come and join us at one of our ongoing, fun Wednesday night Zoom rehearsals where we catch up with our friends, sing our fantastic repertoire, and chat in small groups.  Come Zoom with us!  For access to a Zoom rehearsal, please call 626-570-8395 or send an email to [email protected].

Earlier this year Verdugo was well on our way preparing for the upcoming Regional contest.  Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, all chorus rehearsals and regional and International contests were cancelled.  We were able to perform our contest set for an appreciative audience at our Divas & Desserts (D&D) Show.  Click on the image below to see that D&D contest set.
