Verdugo Hills Chorus will host the 17th annual A Cappella Scholarship Festival on April 22, 2023 at Glendale High School, John Wayne Performing Arts Center.
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm. Tickets at door - $5.00
The A Cappella Scholarship Festival was created in 2005 when we received a grant from the John C. Hench Foundation. With each year’s grant, we award cash scholarships to middle-and high school vocal programs in the Los Angeles County area.
The purpose of the Festival 
to…
- Provide cash scholarships.
- Foster a positive relationship between Verdugo Hills Chorus and public and private schools as it relates to vocal/choral music programs.
- Provide performance opportunities to choral groups in our area.
- Foster a positive relationship among music educators in the schools
- Begin to position Verdugo Hills chorus as a recognized community-based, educational, outreach program in vocal productions for adult women as well as young female singers.
