On Saturday, Verdugo Hills Chorus was fortunate to spend "A Wonderful Day" being coached by the legendary Dale Syverson! Dale has twice been a Queen of Harmony in her own right and is the Master 700 Director of Rich-Tone Chorus, our 2022 Sweet Adelines International Chorus Champions! Indeed, Dale is a SIX-time-International-gold-medal-winning chorus director! She has more than 50 years' experience in training and directing through Sweet Adelines, joining as a child and becoming Rich-Tone's director in 1976.
Dale assisted with vocal skill-building and then launched into helping us create more overtones, finesse phrase-endings, and sing like angels in some places! It was a fun, educational, exhausting, and thoroughly delightful day! We are excited that Dale will be with us again in October.
