Verdugo Hills Chorus is delighted and proud to announce that--along with the wonderful Jen Zucker--our Master Director, Tammy Ragsdale, was awarded Sequoia Pacifica Region 11’s most prestigious honor: the Noteworthy Award. That award is presented in appreciation and gratitude for distinguished service that makes a difference to the advancement and excellence of singers in the Region. In the history of Region 11, there have been only 38 recipients of the award.
The Region recommended Tammy for the award for her creativity and her “fearless mindset” in the midst of unprecedented difficulties during the pandemic, through which she was able to bring new, world-class faculty members to the Region. Because of Tammy and Jen’s joint efforts, singers in the region have been able to grow, learn new skills, stay connected, and thrive.
