Verdugo Hills Chorus was honored to host its 17th A Cappella Scholarship Festival (ACSF) on April 22, 2023. It was a day full of excellent music from students representing 11 high schools and 4 middle schools. Each chorus impressed and inspired us--and each went home with cash prizes.
We are all very grateful to our intrepid ACSF steering committee: Pat Kahmann (chair), Patti Loitz, Pat Vincent, and Debi Bitterolf did a masterful job of planning and executing a complex contest day. A full year of planning and hard work goes into each festival day. And they carried it all off with efficiency, grace, and good humor!
