Verdugo Hills Chorus presents:  "Ya Gotta Have Friends," a seven-week vocal workshop!  Come stand right in the middle of the harmony... it's way more fun than scrolling your phone!  

What you'll learn:  

• posture: the basis for all good singing
• breath control: the fuel for singing
• phonation: creating the sounds of music
• resonation: creating good vocal vibes
• articulation: the words that communicate
• fundamentals: vowels, diphthongs, and consonants
• singing with energy and dynamics
• singing with artistry

The workshop begins on Wednesday, June 17th, at 7:00 pm at Verdugo Hills Chorus's rehearsal hall at the Elks Lodge in San Gabriel and includes a weekend regional educational seminar in Camarillo and a performance on July 24th.

Songs for the workshop include Bill Withers' "Lean on Me"; the Beatles' and Bette Midler's "With a Little Help from My Friends/Ya Gotta Have Friends" medley; and Maroon 5's "Memories"; and more if you're up for it!
